Vanessa Wong
Deputy Director (Administration)
Vanessa cofounded and serves in The New Charis Mission alongside Pastor Don, with whom she is married to. Together they have two children, Vivienne and Daryl. She has been leading the Corporate Services team, facilitating key administrative support to the various programmes and services provided by TNCM.
Affectionately known as the “Mother of the House”, Vanessa is a nurturing influence over the residents and staff. Her passion to see marriages and families thrive has also led her to pioneer the Solid Rock Ministries to support and impact the families of TNCM’s beneficiaries.
Vanessa is a Certified Advanced Behavioural Analyst, Professional Certified Stress Management Consultant and PREPARE/ENRICH/SYMBIS Assessment Facilitator. In May 2023, Vanessa graduated with a Bachelor of Theology. In 2024, Vanessa graduated with a Master of Arts in Ministry.
Vanessa oversees the Administration of The New Charis Mission, ensuring sound governance and processes in the operations of TNCM. From being clueless about addiction and drugs, Vanessa now has 30 years of rehabilitation ministry experience under her belt.
